Administration

The Martha Mariam Cathedral (St. Mary's Cathedral) Manarkad is, under the guidance, supervision and belief of Holyness, Antioch Partiarch and Metropolitan of Kottayam diocese.

This Parish is spread over the 12 areas namely Manarcad Kuzhipurayidam, Malam, Velloor, Vellukutta Manganam, Vadavathoor, Thiruvanchoor, Amayannoor, Parambukara, Vijayapuram and Areeparambu.

The Cathedral and the attached institutions and organizations are under the total controll of the Parish.

The administrative committee consists of the priests, the representative of sunday School teachers and one representation out of 50 families from each area of the parish as per the constitution apporoved in 1957. This committee select three trustees and one secretary from the members of the committee. For the smooth functioning of the institutions and organizations there are committees constituted separately and the duration of the this committe is one year.
